Rachel
At the Forward Foundation, we are privileged to gift meaningful experiences to those facing life-limiting illnesses. Recently, we were able to fulfill a very special request from one of our recipients, Rachel.
Rachel, a passionate member of her local music community, finds solace and strength in singing. She came to us with a vision: to create a music video of her singing “Not Giving Up” by the Kingdom Choir with the help of her musical family at Chorus Studio.
The song holds deep personal meaning for Rachel. Its message of hope and resilience has been a lifeline for her during difficult times in her health journey. She wanted to create this music video as a lasting legacy and to deepen the connections within her musical community.
Working closely with the team at Chorus Studio, led by creative director Rebecca Lam, Rachel’s dream began to take shape. The voices of the studio members blended beautifully with Rachel’s, creating a powerful and moving rendition of the song. The process of coming together to lend their talents and support to this project was just as meaningful as the final result.

After the video was filmed, the Chorus Studio team hosted a catered dinner, providing a space for everyone involved to reflect on the experience. They discussed how creating this music video together strengthened their bonds and reinvigorated their commitment to serving their musical community.
The final music video is a testament to the power of music to heal, inspire, and bring people together. Rachel’s story is one of resilience, community, and the transformative impact that can come from gifting meaningful experiences to those in need.
You can view the music video below. Let Rachel’s story and the beautiful performance fill you with hope and remind you of the profound connections that can be forged through the universal language of music.
