A huge round of applause and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who played a part in the overwhelming success of the Forward Foundation this year.
The level of generosity was unprecedented, allowing us to raise a substantial amount of funds. A highlight of the evening came when Raymond Sawada’s mother, Regina, handed Forward Foundation a cheque for $10,000 which was raised during the annual Play Like Ray Challenge.
These funds are vital in fulfilling our mission: ensuring that young adults facing serious, life-limiting illnesses, like Tamara, Danika, Alana, Jordan, Ann, Nikita, Sarah, Guillaume, Rachel, and Victoria, have their desires for connection met. The Cayford Gala’s main fundraising event’s success is a testament to the support we receive from our incredible sponsors, donors, and attendees.
